Management and Exercise Rehabilitation Programme


If you have had an injury while playing sport or in the workplace we will provide you with an individual Management and Exercise Rehabilitation Programme.

We will make this specific to your requirements for your sport and your work activities.


Exercise Print Outs


We have exercise print outs you can take home for your home exercises, and in the clinic we work with anatomical wall charts to educate you extensively about injury mechanisms and how to prevent injuries recurring.


Gym Facility


After consultation in our rooms it is possible for us to use the gym facility ,with all its modern equipment, to help you increase strength, coordination and general fitness (up to pre-injury level or even better)


Activity Based Programmes


We also provide Activity Based Programs when required.

These programs combine strengthening, general cardiovascular and aerobic exercises, stretching, flexibility and relaxation exercises necessary to improve function.

With all these Programmes we also address:

Pain beliefs, misunderstandings about injury and health status, the self management of “flare up’s, fear of movement and activity, problem solving and goal setting, pacing skills.

Albert is also a provider of PGAP* programs for ACC.

*PGAP: Progressive Goal Attainment Program. This is a standardised community based intervention designed to target psychosocial risk factors for pain related disability. Developed by Dr M O’Sullivan.
